ARTWORK notes

  • We accept files on CD or DVD in Mac or PC format in the following programs: Quark Express 6.0, Adobe InDesign CS/CS2, Adobe Photoshop CS/CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS/CS2

  • High resolution PDFs under 10MB can be sent via email. Larger files can be sent via YouSentIt, or couriered or mailed by Express Post on CD or DVD

  • It is important that documents bleed equally all around

  • Indicate clearly if you have used a Quark Extension

  • Scan from the best material available (scans from printed material such as newspapers, business cards, magazines are not recommended)

  • Convert all fonts to outlines

  • Supply all relevant files, including linked or placed files

  • Supply logos as Illustrator or Freehand files where possible

  • Please supply a colour printout of the files you have sent to us. Please note due to the inconsistent nature of colour ink jet or laser prints we do not consider them to be an accurate colour guide. If you require a particular colour match please send a reference of the particular colour (poster, colour print, Iris or Chromalin proof, transparency etc.) with the artwork and mark this item as a colour reference.
