Starlight's biggest fundraising day of the year is May 1 - Starlight Day - where volunteers around the country take to the streets in a sea of purple and yellow and sell merchandise to raise funds. So to help Starlight in their time of need, Impact Media took to the streets with three Prancing Horse Ferraris and two Spyderlites, spreading the Starlight message throughout the Sydney CBD to raise awareness and funds.
Our day began at in Martin Place, where Starlight had set up fundraising booths and a giant stage & screen to elicit support and entertain all who ventured past. By 5.30am we had all the vehicles literally parked in Martin Place, creating one of the most spectacular sights ever seen in the centre of the city! No-one could resist and people came from all directions to look, chat, daydream and take photos while Starlight volunteers wandered through the crowd collection donations.
Then from 9am the Prancing Horse & Spyderlites convoy took to the streets. The reaction was nothing short of incredible! Everyone on the streets stopping, nudging eachother, pointing and ogling. Countless noses pressed up against windows in countless office blocks. And drivers, passengers and pedestrians everywhere taking more photos than we could ever hope to count!
Suffice to say that if you're looking for the ultimate way to get attention, nothing else comes close to the combination of our Prancing Horse Ferraris and Spyderlites or Scooterlites.
