Perisher Blue turns up the heat

With Autumn now upon us and the thoughts of tens of thousands of skiiers and snowboarders firmly fixed on the '09 ski season, what better time to take to the streets of Sydney and Brisbane to launch a media campaign to rev up the recruitment drive for a mountain of staff.

Any Marketer knows how hard it is to reach 18-25’s, but Perisher Blue’s media strategy proved to be a standout success in hitting the target market bullseye.

The strategy? A metro print and street media campaign in both cities.

From 10am-4pm for five days Impact Media Scooterlites saturated the Sydney & Brisbane CBD area, hitting all the 18-25’s hotspots including Universities, central railway stations, major mall precincts and lunchtime meeting spots (try doing that with traditional static outdoor for under $10K!).

Although the full results won’t be known until closer to the start of the ski season, early indications are pointing to a brilliantly successful campaign.
